London calling

"When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford."
                                                                                                    -Samuel Johnson 1777

Not everything has changed over the centuries! Therefor, this weekend it's my third trip to London, and it's going to be full of entertainment: there will be two NKOTBSB-concerts and Mamma Mia -musical, and I am quite excited of them all!

Rest of the time we'll spend shopping and sightseeing. This is a ladies'  long weekend there, and I have dreamt of a high heeled pair of Kurt Geiger's since my last trip there...

Here's a selection of pictures of my last trip. I did't plan to go there, but since my co-workers wanted to go there and see some soccer, I went along; just went to see the musical Dirty Dancing instead.
A Mini! And I love this house, too!

There's always something blooming... Lots of small gardens.
What a house! You can find modern and ugly buildings as well, but you can find amazing things if you look up...

British Museum is excellent. There's so much to see and it's for free!
I always want to see these kitty mummies.
Angry birds wishing for some wine?
A travelers snack, yummy it was.
Trafalgar square, such a lively place, and great museums.
 This clock doesn't need introductions...
I got this photo taken in a sightseeing bus, so I suppose it was worth it, although it was chilly sitting there.
 Tower bridge...

And the Tower, too.

On a short trip you only get to see a little bit of London, so why not concentrate on these pretty essentials? For me, Covent Garden is worth visiting every time, and this trip I plan to go and see Camden as well. It might become another "must-see-every-time"...

Here's some music-videos with London, not just the tourists' version of it.

Blue: I can

Pet Shop Boys: London

                                                                 Lily Allen: LDN

And about my upcoming entertainment:
So the hugest boy bands from 1990's are all grown up now and working together. I was a huge fan of New Kids on the Block then, and I am now very excited to see them with Backstreet Boys. One more night to wait!

A little bit more to wait until this one, but surely worth it!
